When I heard that putting peanut butter together with melted candy corn tastes like a Butterfinger, I did not believe it. But, sure enough I made this recipe and it tastes exactly like the inside of one and it comes together in minutes!
What You’ll Need To Make Butterfinger Bites
- Creamy Peanut Butter: The nutty flavor and creamy texture binds the candy corn together to make a perfect butterfinger-like dessert.
- Candy Corn: Take good old candy corn and melt it in the microwave to get the perfect texture.
- Chocolate Chips: These could be white chocolate, milk chocolate or even dark chocolate. Use this to to drizzle on top of the bites or dunk them entirely in chocolate for a more decadent treat.
How To Make Halloween Butterfinger Bites

- Once they are firm and ready, melt ½ cup chocolate chips of choice in a glass microwave safe bowl or measuring cup in 30 second intervals, stirring until fully melted.

Recipe Tips
- If you’d like to cover the entire bite in chocolate, a full 2 cups of chocolate chips are needed to melt.
- You could use a double boiler to melt the candy corn, but it will take a long time and will stick to the bowl even more.
- If any sticky candy corn mixture gets left on the bowl, soak it in hot soapy water for 1 hour then scrub with a sponge.
- These bites will last up to 1 week in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Feel free to make other shapes or decorate with sprinkles or candy eyeballs.
- For a crunchy bite, use crunchy peanut butter.
