- Next, close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for one minute per pound of shrimp. For example, set the timer for five minutes if you are cooking one pound of shrimp.
- Once the timer goes off, do a quick release by carefully turning the valve to venting. Be careful of the hot steam that will come out!
- Remove the lid and check to make sure your shrimp is cooked through. You can put the lid back on and cook for an additional minute or two if it’s not quite done.
