One of my goals with owning my own business was to be able to travel more. As things grow, I’m surprisingly having a hard time building it into my life! It’s almost as if I have to force travel time into my life and make it a priority. My goal in 2018 is to begin to change that and travel to as many places as I can.

I am also considering talking to one of the top luxury travel experts who can help me plan my vacations smoothly. This is because he can plan everything and I would just pack my bags and fly to the destination, which means no unnecessary time waste in researching everything for the trip.

Usually, luxury travels agents do all the research for you and help you explore infinite options, whether you want to Fly in a Spitfire. Two seat Spitfire flights over the English Channel. Or, want to do bungee jumping from the highest peak or just want to experience some thrill in the high tides. They will help find the right requirements you are looking for. If you have any questions or issues during the trip, they will step in and take care of it. Let’s say, you had an issue with travel and you need a luxury travel like RPD Limo, they will be able to provide you with it. As you can see, there’s nothing you will need to worry about.

Another goal of mine is to stick to a somewhat healthy (for me) lifestyle while I am out of my element traveling. Of course, I want to indulge in the decadent foods and clubs that new places have to offer, but I know myself well enough to know that feeding myself food that doesn’t sit well with my body will ultimately make me feel like garbage. I want to enjoy the nightlife in Tijuana or Tulum (read this blog post to learn more) without having to worry about how many carbs I’m consuming to soak up the alcohol. It has the potential to slow down my travel and not give me time to explore all the places that I’d like to.
I do have some upcoming travel ahead to my hometown on the Jersey Shore. Even though I know I can’t stick 100% to my real food-based, low-carb, keto lifestyle, I do have some tricks up my sleeve to make sure I’m not snacking on garbage just for the hell of it.

Bullet Proof Coffee

One of the most important parts of my day is starting with my Bullet Proof Coffee. Say what you will about this concoction, but for ME it sets me up for success in my morning and keeps my energy flowing strongly through tough cook dates. I wanted a way I could continue to have this each morning and luckily there are some amazing travel sized products available to help me keep at it.

This mug has easily become my ride or die. I used to scoff at people who purchased expensive Yeti products, but this mug is ony $24.99 and keeps my coffee hot for hours as I sip on it through early blogging mornings.

4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee Packets

If you haven’t tried butter or ghee in your coffee, you’re missing out. I love the taste of butter and vanilla in my coffee. Usually I make my own ghee (see below for recipe) but I’m so happy to have these packets available for travel.

Brain Octane Oil Packets

I could go on and on about the benefits of MCT oil but the main thing for me is that they are a quick energy source that rarely gets stored as fat. It’s literally brain fuel and helps keep me full throughout the morning.

Travel Coffee Frother/Mixer

Since it’s hard to emulsify coffee with oil, I needed something that would blend everything together without having all the oil sit on top. This travel frother does the trick perfectly and now I have no excuses.

Even with 9 grams of net carbs, I find these bites a perfect texture with a satisfying nut butter taste that goes perfect with coffee or when you’re somewhere with little healthy options… like the airport.

I fell in love with pork rinds when I started eating low carb as they are one of the few crunchy chip like snacks that fit within my personal dietary guidelines. My salt intake is serious! It helps keep me hydrated and feeling good. I’m definietly not afraid of real salt. What I am afraid of is salt that restaurants buy that has dextrose and anti-caking agents in it as fillers. I like bringing salt with me when I travel for my food AND to sprinkle some in my water especially in the summer.
