These 3 ingredient nutella brownies come together fast without the need for butter, cocoa powder or baking powder. Makes a quick and easy fudgy brownie dessert with a great hazelnut chocolate taste. Can be made gluten free easily!
Not too long ago I saw a jar of Nutella on Instagram. Truth be told, I probably see them all the time! But this time was different.
It’s almost as if I completely forgot about what nutella is and I knew I needed it more in my life. Growing up, we ate a LOT of peanut butter nutella sandwiches but felt the need to create some easy nutella recipe that everyone can try.
During my weekly shopping trip, I saw one jar in a store for super expensive. Then when I went to Costco I saw two GIANT jars for the same price. Now I have so much Nutella on my hands, I don’t know what to do with it!
When I was looking up desserts with nutella, I found the almighty 3 ingredient nutella brownies. I wasn’t sure if it was real, so I had to make them for myself. And just for kicks, I made them gluten free, too!
What is Nutella?
Nutella is a brand of sweetened palm oil spread, flavored with hazelnut and cocoa solids, generically called chocolate spread. Nutella is manufactured by the Italian company Ferrero and was first introduced in 1965, although its first iteration dates to 1963. Wikipedia
How do you make Nutella Brownies with 3 ingredients?
I know, I really didn’t believe this myself either but it is as easy as it sounds. You simply mix nutella with eggs and flour then bake it together in a pan. Seriously, that’s it. There is no cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract or ANYTHING ELSE in this nutella dessert. I don’t know how it’s possible but I am not complaining.
How do you make Gluten Free Nutella Brownies?
I always use a gluten free flour blend that is all purpose and already contains Xanthan Gum in the mix. Lately my favorite is Krusteaz Gluten Free Flour Blend. If you do not need this recipe to be gluten free, then you can use regular all purpose flour just fine.
What Baking Pan Should I use?
These 3 ingredient nutella brownies are actually baked in a loaf pan. The dimensions are 9.25 X 5.25. The reason for this is because to me, an 8×8 would produce really thin brownies and would need a lower cook time. Feel free to play around with pan size but make sure you are adjusting your cook time to match.
