Air Fryer Blueberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tablespoon brown sugar

For the topping:

  • 1 tablespoon flour all-purpose flour or gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • ½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes. Grease a ramekin with oil or butter.
  • Wash the blueberries in cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Place them in a bowl along with the lemon juice and brown sugar. Toss the mixture until fully combined. Add the blueberry mixture to the bottom of the prepared ramekin.
  • In a small bowl, add flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and then press it into the dry mixture using your fingers or a fork. Continue until the butter is well incorporated and a crumbly topping forms. Sprinkle the topping over the blueberries evenly.
  • Place ramekin in preheated air fryer and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the blueberries are fork-tender and the topping is golden brown.
  • Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream and/or whipped cream.

Notes

🥧To Make Blueberry Crisp or Crumble

In order to make this a blueberry crisp or crumble, the topping varies slightly and contains no oats and more flour to make a biscuit-like topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
Instructions:
  1. Add the dry ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined.
  2. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and then press it into the dry mixture using your fingers or a fork.
  3. Continue until the butter is well incorporated and a crumbly topping forms.
  4. Sprinkle the topping over the seasoned blueberries evenly before air frying.
