- 1 lb Sweet Potato Fries frozen
Preheat your air fryer to 400F. This will take about 3-5 minutes depending on your air fryer.
Place the frozen sweet potato fries at the bottom of the air fryer basket in a single layer. It’s ok if they overlap a tiny bit, but you want to make sure the dry heat crisps the fries instead of steam them. If your air fryer is too small, you may have to cook in batches.
Set your air fryer to cook for 15 minutes. Flip at the 7-8 minute mark and then again at 10 minutes. At 12 minutes of cooking time, check to see if they are done and crispy. If they are, take them out. If not, let them cook for the additional 3 minutes to finish cooking.
Remove sweet potato fries from the air fryer basket with tongs and serve hot with your favorite side dishes and dipping sauces.
How Long To Air Fry Sweet Potato Fries
The amount of time it takes to air fry a frozen sweet potato fries depends on how thick the fries are. These are general recommendations. Typical frozen french fries need about 12-15 minutes to cook at a temperature 400F depending on their thickness. Always check regularly halfway through cooking and toss to ensure they don’t burn or overcook as every air fryer is different!
