1️⃣ Preheat the air fryer: Turn the air fryer to 375F for 3-5 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the Kabocha squash: To cut a kabocha squash, first stabilize it on a cutting board and, using a sharp knife, slice off the stem end to create a flat base. Then, standing the squash on its now-flat base, carefully cut it in half from top to bottom, using a gentle rocking motion with the knife if necessary. Cut into slices or cubes. You can leave the skin on or off.
3️⃣ Season the squash: Toss slices in a large bowl with oil, salt, pepper or seasonings of your choice.
4️⃣ Air fry kabocha squash: Place in one single layer in the Ninja Foodi or air fryer basket. Air fry for 18-20 minutes flipping halfway until tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
