Air Fryer Lamb Burgers

Air Fryer Lamb Burgers are a quick and easy way to have perfectly cooked burgers on the table in 15 minutes or less.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Let the ground lamb rest for 10-12 minutes outside of the refrigerator to take the chill off.
  • Add the ground lamb to a medium-sized mixing bowl and the dried seasonings.
  • Work the seasonings into the mixture just until combined without overworking.
  • Split each pound into four evenly sized pieces and shape into circles that are 1/2 inch thick.
  • Use your thumb or a spoon to create a well in the middle for even cooking.
  • Turn on your air fryer and preheat it at 375F for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the lamb burger patties in a single layer without overlapping at the bottom of the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 15 minutes flipping halfway with a heat-safe spatula.
  • Once cooked, remove with a spatula and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

How to toast a hamburger bun in the air fryer:

  • Place the hamburger buns cut side up in the air fryer and toast the buns at 375F for 2-5 minutes or until golden brown. Top your burgers with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, bacon, ketchup, mustard or bbq sauce.
