Instructions

  • Turn your air fryer to 350F and preheat for 3-5 minutes. OR add your bread to the air fryer and let it preheat with the bread inside to start the toasting process and save time.
  • Slice the bread into pieces that will fit in your air fryer. If you are using a round air fryer, then you can cut the slices in half so they fit better.
  • Place the toast, in the air fryer in a single layer with no overlapping. You may need to cook the toast in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes and then check on the toast. If you want it darker, cook for a few minutes more. The bread should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside when it is done.
  • Use a tong or spatula to remove the toast from air fryer and place it on a plate. Serve with butter, jam, honey, or your favorite topping.

🫐Adding Toppings

  • Butter: After your toast is done in the air fryer, you can spread the butter right away. A great trick is to leave the bread in the air fryer with the heat off but the door still closed. The residual heat will gently melt the butter, giving you that perfect, glossy finish without overcooking the toast. This method works best if you like your butter slightly melted but not soaking into the bread too quickly.
  • Jam & Jelly: Once the toast is crispy and ready, spread your favorite jam or jelly while the bread is still warm. The warmth of the toast helps to soften the jam, making it easier to spread evenly.
  • Avocado: For avocado toast, mash your avocado with a fork and spread it on top of the air-fried toast right after it's done. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. The air fryer makes the toast sturdy enough to hold all your toppings without becoming soggy, which is perfect for a thicker spread like avocado.
  • Cinnamon Sugar: For cinnamon sugar toast, it’s best to butter the bread first so the sugar mix sticks better. After air frying your toast, spread some butter and sprinkle a generous mix of cinnamon and sugar on top while the toast is still warm.
