Course: Sous Vide

Equipment

  • Sous Vide (Immersion Circulator)
  • Large Pot
  • Water & Ice
  • Beer Bottles or Cans

Instructions

  • Add water and ice to a large pot of water or a bucket large enough to hold up to 6 beer bottles or beer cans.
  • Place the immersion circulator in the water and set the temperature as low as it will go. In this case, the sous vide will not chill the water, but it will circulate the ice water around the beer.
  • Add the beer bottles or cans to the circulating water. If your bottles are floating to the top, use a weight to keep them down.
  • Let the circulating water chill the beer for 10 minutes. Remove from the cold water and serve while ice cold.
