Notes

Cooking Tips For Sous Vide Frozen Chicken Wings

Let the water come to temperature: Make sure your water is at the desired temperature before adding it to bags of food. This will prevent any cold air from entering during preheating which can cause uneven cooking or undercooking.
Use a vacuum sealer if possible: Vacuum seal the food if possible for the best results. This helps to prevent any moisture from escaping and keeps the food moist and tender.
Seasoning Sous Vide Frozen Chicken Wings Before Cooking: When using sous vide to cook frozen chicken wings it's a good idea to flavor them before cooking or at least let the seasoning seep into the bag. This will prevent under-seasoned wings and give them great flavor!
Add More Seasoning After Cooking: If you want a bit more kick, add additional dry seasonings after cooking your sous vide frozen chicken wings. You can also toss them with a sauce or glaze to give the wings some extra flavor.
Broil To Crisp Skin: The sous vide method is designed for cooking food evenly and retaining its moisture, so after you have cooked your frozen chicken wings in the controlled water bath it's best not to fry or broil them straight away as this can overcook them. Let them cool for a few minutes so they are at room temperature and then broil until the skin is crispy.
