Notes

❄️Make Ahead For Meal Prep

How long is tuna fish with mayo good for in the fridge? Tuna fish mixed with mayonnaise is safe to eat from the fridge for up to 3 to 5 days if stored properly. Store the tuna salad in an airtight container and keep it refrigerated at or below 40°F (4°C). Avoid leaving the tuna salad out at room temperature for more than 2 hours, as bacteria grow rapidly between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
For meal prep, prepare your tuna salad in advance and portion it into individual airtight containers. This not only makes it convenient to grab and go but also helps maintain freshness throughout the week. If you're looking to extend its shelf life for a busy week ahead, keep the ingredients separate and mixing them just before serving. For example, store the seasoned tuna and mayonnaise separately and combine them the day you plan to eat the salad.
