Ingredients

  • 2 Burger Patties frozen
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil avocado, ghee, beef tallow
  • Salt & Pepper optional to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your skillet: Add your pan or cast iron skillet to the stovetop and let it heat to medium-high heat, making sure not to let it get too hot.
  • Prepare the frozen burgers: Take apart the individually frozen burger patties, remove the wax or parchment paper, and discard.
  • Add oil to the skillet: Add the oil to the hot skillet and let it get thin and shiny.
  • Cook the burgers: Place the frozen burger patties on the hot oiled skillet and let them sit there for 3-5 minutes. Then flip them and let them cook for 3-5 minutes on the other side.
  • Season the burgers: Before the second side is cooked, sprinkle salt and pepper on the first cooked side and repeat on the other side.
  • Flip until cooked: Flip the burgers every 2-3 minutes to continue cooking and prevent burning. Depending on their size, the burgers will be fully cooked in about 15 minutes.
  • Rest and serve: Check the internal temperature to ensure the burgers reach 165F; remove the burgers from the skillet and serve hot with your favorite toppings!
