It probably doesn’t happen often, but sometimes there may be a bit of leftover cooked bacon from a large breakfast or brunch.

Bacon is a popular food because it is delicious and can be cooked in many different ways. You can fry it, bake it, microwave it, or even air fry it.

If you find yourself with some leftover bacon, don’t worry! It’s easy to reheat so that it is just as crispy and delicious as when it was first cooked. You’ll first want to make sure the cooked bacon is properly stored in the fridge.

🥓How To Store Cooked Bacon In The Fridge

  1. Make sure the bacon is completely cooled and drained of any excess fat.
  2. Get out a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to cover the entire length of the bacon.
  3. Place the bacon in the middle of the foil in a single layer.
  4. Fold the foil on top of the bacon sealing the edges and keeping it flat. This will prevent the slices from sticking together.
  5. Place the foil-wrapped bacon in a zip-top bag and lay flat in the fridge.

🔥How To Reheat Bacon

On the Stovetop (Skillet)

The stovetop is one of the quickest way to reheat bacon. Simply heat a skillet over medium heat and then add the bacon strips in a single layer. Cook for about two minutes per side, or until the bacon is heated through and crisp.

In The Oven

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the bacon strips cook evenly and prevent them from sticking to the pan. Place the bacon strips on the wire rack and bake for about 5-8 minutes, or until crisp.

In The Microwave

Place the bacon strips on a paper towel-lined plate and microwave for 30 seconds to one minute, or until heated through. Be sure to keep an eye on the bacon so it doesn’t overcook and become chewy.

In The Air Fryer

This is my favorite way to reheat bacon! Just place the bacon strips in the air fryer basket and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about two minutes, or until crisp. You don’t even need to preheat the air fryer; just put the bacon in and let it do its thing.
