Have leftover chicken breast on hand from last night’s dinner or from a solid meal prep session? You can easily learn How To Reheat Chicken Breast In The Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi without drying it out to make it good as new!
Having leftover cooked chicken breast can be a really good thing! You can use chicken breast in so many different recipes. But, if you’re not eating it cold, it can easily dry out when reheating.
As a trained chef, I’ve found that the best way to reheat chicken breast is by using my air fryer or Ninja Foodi. The air fryer is a small convection oven that uses dry circulating heat to cook food. Because of this and how small it is, it allows food to reheat quickly and evenly.
I also love using the air fryer to reheat turkey breast, steak, ham, burgers, hot dogs, and many other foods!

🍗How To Reheat Chicken Breast In Air Fryer
1️⃣Take the chill off: Allow the cooked chicken breasts to come to room temperature from the refrigerator, which will help to reheat evenly. This usually takes around 10-15 minutes.
2️⃣Preheat your Air Fryer: Turn the air fryer to350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
3️⃣Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breast on a large piece of foil. Add a splash of water or broth over the top. Fold the foil over the chicken breast and make a tight airtight seal. This will help the liquid warm and steam the chicken.
4️⃣Arrange the Chicken: Arrange the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket apart from each other.
Reheat chicken breast: Set the timer for 8 minutes.
5️⃣Season halfway (Optional): At the 5-minute mark, use tongs to peel off the foil from the top, exposing the chicken. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle on any additional seasonings. Continue to reheat until warm all the way through.
6️⃣Rest the Chicken: After the chicken has reached the correct internal temperature, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, helping it stay moist. Enjoy!
