This spicy habanero ranch dressing made with fresh cilantro doubles as a dip and puts a kick into any salad or chicken wing obsession.
How many of you ordered salads in the past with as little dressing as possible?
I feel bad for my former self because I missed out on the glory that is homemade ranch dressing. I absolutely LOVE making my own dressing and condiments because I can control what I put into them, tweak the flavor and be sure that I am making a healthy fat decision. My current diet of being a mix of paleo, low carb and Whole30 makes it possible for me to enjoy high fat delicious dressings and dips almost every day so it was only natural that I wanted to make something to spice up my ranch game.
This habanero ranch dressing is definitely spicy but not so spicy that you won’t be able to taste your food. While you’re making it, adjust the level of habanero sauce to your liking. A little bit goes a long way!
This ranch dressing is also comparable to Tessemae’s habanero ranch but with a much smaller price tag even though Tessemae’s is more shelf stable. The other benefit to homemade is that you won’t have to be pissed off anymore when you cant find Habanero Ranch Dressing in your local health food store. Believe me, it’s a real issue . . . at least in Charleston!
