If you’re looking for a flavorful hearty keto dinner then you must make this taco pie! It’s like a reverse taco that is packed with low carb ingredients and has a crispy crust that is similar to Bisquick or pie crust, but it’s not at all!

📖How To Make Keto Taco Pie

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2️⃣ In a large skillet, heat up 1 tbsp avocado oil. Add in the bell pepper, jalapeno, and garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes or until everything begins to soften.

3️⃣ To the skillet, add in ground beef and taco seasoning. Sauté ground beef in with the vegetables for 5-8 minutes or until beef is cooked through and no longer pink.

4️⃣ In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cheese and almond flour until a thick batter is formed.

5️⃣ Place your ground beef mixture in a pie pan or 8×8 baking dish and press the mixture down until it’s flat.

6️⃣ Pour the egg, cheese and almond flour crust on top using a spoon or rubber spatula to spread evenly over the ground beef mixture.

7️⃣ Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

If you’d like to make this recipe compliant with a Whole30 reset that also happens to be dairy free, make sure you take the following steps:

1️⃣ Omit the cheese completely from the recipe. The crust will still be delicious!

2️⃣ Use a homemade taco seasoning instead of a packet which could contain non compliant ingredients.

3️⃣ To serve, top with a fresh batch of Whole30 Coleslaw and a squeeze of lime.
