🌮Ingredients You’ll Need

Ground Beef Taco Mixture

Ground Beef – This makes up the hearty protein part of the dish. Use no more than 85% ground beef for the best flavor. You can also use ground turkey, chicken, or bison instead.

Onion & Garlic – These classic flavors pair well with taco meat.

Bell Pepper – Bell pepper adds a slightly sweet flavor and bulk.

Jalapeno Pepper – Jalapenos spice up the dish but can be omitted if you like it less spicy.

Avocado Oil – You’ll need avocado or olive oil in order to saute the veggies and beef to release their flavors.

Taco Seasoning – You can use a homemade blend of taco seasoning or one packet of your favorite taco seasoning.

For Crust

Eggs – These help bind the crust together making it stick to the beef mixture.

Shredded Mexican Cheese – Will add a crispy texture and salty bite.

Almond Flour – Gives the taco pie a bread type texture while being “crustless”

Salt & Pepper – Balances the flavors in the crust.
