🥘Instant Pot Unsweetened Applesauce

  1. Peel, core and quarter each apple.
  2. Add apples to your pressure cooker along with 1/3 cup water.
  3. Cook on manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and blend or mash until desired consistency is reached.

🍲Slow Cooker Unsweetened Applesauce

  1. Peel, core and quarter each apple.
  2. Add apples to your crockpot or slow cooker along with 1/3 cup water.
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours being sure to check it halfway and stir.
  4. Remove from heat and blend or mash until desired consistency is reached.

🔥Stovetop Unsweetened Applesauce

  1. Peel, core and quarter each apple.
  2. Add apples to a medium or large sauce pot along with 1/3 cup water.
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours being sure to check it halfway and stir.
  4. Remove from heat and blend or mash until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Cover and cook over medium heat until it simmers, then reduce heat to low / medium-low and continue cooking until the apples are tender for about about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally to help them further break down.
  6. Remove from heat and blend or mash until desired consistency is reached.
