As a kitchen gadget obsessed chef, I’m always looking for ways to make cooking my favorite foods easier. So I was super happy when I realized you can make canned cinnamon rolls in the air fryer!

Once my son started kindergarten, I made it a Saturday morning habit to make cinnamon rolls. After the first weekend of heating up the oven, cleaning a pan, and having to wait and guess until they were perfectly cooked, I ditched the oven and tried making them in my Ninja Foodi.

HUGE SUCCESS! Not only were they golden brown on the outside, they were soft and fluffy on the inside. The best part, they only took 8 minutes to cook! I was able to remove them from the air fryer, frost them, and we were chowing down in no time.

I HIGHLY recommend you get some air fryer parchment paper liners for this recipe, especially the round ones. I was able to get 8 cinnamon rolls on the paper and they cooked well together. I carefully lifted the liner out when they were finished to frost them and there was no mess or extra plates to clean.

These air fryer parchment liners save SO much time in a busy kitchen and I use them every day! It’s a budget friendly way to save time. It’s cinnamon roll Saturday so it’s time to make air fryer canned cinnamon rolls. Start by adding your parchment liner to the air fryer and arrange the cinnamon rolls with a little space in between. I use the preheating time as cooking time so I set the air fryer to 325F and let it preheat. Then I set the timer for 8 minutes and let them cook. The result is golden brown cinnamon rolls on top with a pillowy inside. There’s no need to clean any pans, preheat an oven, or even clean the air fryer basket! Note that the cooking time will be different depending on each type of air fryer and the thickness of your cinnamon rolls, but 8-10 minutes is a great place to start. #AirFryerHacks #CinnamonRolls #AirFryerRecipes #EasyBreakfast #KitchenHacks #AirFryerLove #QuickMeals #CinnamonRollSaturday #AirFryerCinnamonRolls #BreakfastIdeas #EasyRecipes #TimeSavingTips #NoMessCooking #BusyMomHacks #ParchmentPaperLiners #AirFryerCooks #EasyAirFryerRecipes #CookingShortcuts #QuickAndEasy #BudgetFriendlyMeals #FoodHacks #LazyCooking #bakinginairfryer #timesaver #easycooking

🍽️How To Make Canned Cinnamon Rolls In The Air Fryer

Arrange the cinnamon rolls: Place a round parchment paper liner in the air fryer. If you don’t have one, you can use regular parchment paper or lightly grease the basket if you’re not using one at all. Pop open the can and arrange the cinnamon rolls with about 1 inch apart.

Preheat and cook: I use the preheating time as cooking time to make it easier. While the cinnamon rolls are in the air fryer, set the temperature to 325F and let it preheat for 2-3 minutes. After that, set the timer for 8 minutes. Let them cook until they are browned on the top and cooked through the middle.

Remove and frost: Carefully remove each cinnamon roll with tongs and place onto a plate or remove the entire piece of parchment. Frost with icing while warm. Enjoy!

👩🏻‍🍳Chef’s Expert Tips

  • Use your favorite brand of canned cinnamon rolls. Most people prefer Pillsbury but we often use Great Value or Aldi brand and they are just fine!
  • The size and thickness of the cinnamon rolls will vary, so the cooking times will too! Start with 8 minutes and add 1-2 more minutes of cooking time if needed.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket. For best results, about 1 inch of room between each cinnamon rolls allows them to cook together without undercooking the middle cinnamon rolls.
  • If you’re not using parchment, grease your air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray or oil. Place the cinnamon rolls directly in the basket one inch apart.
