🍄Ingredients You’ll Need
- Baby Portobello Mushrooms (halved)
- Butter or Ghee (melted)
- Fresh Garlic (minced)
- Worcestershire or Coconut Aminos
📖 How to Make Air Fryer Mushrooms
1️⃣ Chop baby portobello mushrooms into halves or quarters depending on their size. The more even they are in size, the better they will cook.
2️⃣ Toss mushrooms with garlic, melted butter and Worcestershire (or coconut aminos) until fully coated.
3️⃣ Add to the air fryer basket. These do NOT need to be in a single layer as this side dish is not for crispy mushrooms.
4️⃣ Cook at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes tossing halfway through before removing and serving hot.
👉 Air Fryer Breaded Mushrooms
- How long to cook homemade breaded mushrooms: Bread mushrooms to your liking and cook at 375 degrees for 8 minutes in a single layer.
- How long to cook pre-breaded frozen mushrooms: Air fry breaded frozen mushrooms at 365 degrees for 10-12 minutes in a single layer.
NOTE: How long to cook air fryer mushrooms depends on the size of the mushrooms. Because this recipe is for 1 whole pound of baby portobello mushrooms chopped in half, the cooking time is 12-15 minutes. If you are cooking 8 ounces of mushrooms, reduce the cooking time to 10-12 minutes. Since you will be tossing them in the air fryer basket halfway through, you will be able to judge when they are finished cooking better.
